received her M.D. and Ph.D. in neuroscience from the University of Zagreb School of Medicine. She did her postdoctoral training at the Medical College of Wisconsin, USA, where her research focused on neuroprotection. Specifically, she studied the role of cytochrome P450 metabolites of arachidonic acid in hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke in rats. Currently, as a Senior Scientist on the GlowBrain project, her research activities include application of neural stem cells into the mouse brain affected by stroke and in vivo monitoring of stem cells behavior after transplantation through complementary combination of two imaging modalities (BLI and MRI).
